Every minute, ~2,500 spot and perpetual markets on Binance, Bybit and Hyperliquid are checked for sudden volume. When a coin trades several times its normal volume, it shows up here with its buy/sell flow, the other exchanges moving with it, and what price did next. Free, no sign-up.

Every market is scanned in 1-minute bars. A volume spike fires when a minute's traded volume is at least 4× that market's normal minute (the rolling median of the last hour, floored by its 24h average) and above a size floor ($30K spot / $75K perps). Illiquid markets are skipped.
Modes. Focused (default) shows only big moves: at least $1M in a minute at 8× normal with a clear buy or sell side, $500K+ spread across 3+ venues, or $2M+ of liquidations. Balanced adds moves of $250K+ at 5× normal and anything seen on 2+ venues. Firehose shows every detection, often 10–20 a minute. In Focused and Balanced, one coin moving on several venues at once is shown as a single row with the move's total.
L1 ≥ 4× normal, L2 ≥ 8×, L3 ≥ 16×. Confluence bumps an alert up one level. Side comes from taker flow: ≥ 60% taker buys = Buy, ≤ 40% = Sell, otherwise Mixed.
When the same coin spikes in the same direction on another venue or market within 3 minutes (say Binance perp and Bybit spot), both alerts get confluence badges. Several venues moving together is usually more meaningful than a single print.
LIQ rows fire when at least $250K of one coin is force-closed on a venue within a minute. FUND rows fire when a perp's funding rate crosses into extreme territory (|rate| ≥ 0.2% per 8h), a sign of crowded positioning. See all rates on the funding rates page and every force-closed position on the liquidations page.
The price change measured 5, 15 and 60 minutes after each volume alert, so you can see how similar alerts played out. They describe the past only. They are not a signal or a prediction.
The old Binance BTC-pairs table counted pings per coin. The 24h column (and Hot coins) is the new version: how many spikes the coin has had in the last 24 hours across all venues.
Star coins to build a watchlist and tick "sound only for these" to keep the tab open quietly all day. Best used alongside your own charting; spikes tend to matter most when the market is already volatile. Old walkthroughs of the original version: short video, 1-hour deep dive.
No. Volume Monitor shows raw market data for free. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell. Crypto is volatile and you can lose money.
